Prof.Dr. Yunus Yavuz

Prof.Dr. Yunus Yavuz has a long and distinguished career in the medical field. Prof.Dr. Yunus began their career in 1997 as a Consultant Surgeon at St. Olavs hospital, Trondheim University Hospital. In 2007, they became a Clinical Associate Professor at Marmara University, and in 2011 they held the same position at \u0130stanbul Bilim University. In 2010, they joined the Advisory Committee Member at the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES). In 2011, they were a Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon at Florence Nightingale Hospital. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Prof. Dr. Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon (Bariyatrik ve Metabolik Cerrahi Uzman\u0131) at American Hospital. In 2015, they became a Professor and Associate Professor at Ko\u00e7 University School of Medicine, Department of General Surgery, Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Unit, Ko\u00e7 University Hospital. In 2019, they were appointed as the Director of Medical Software Development at Medisouth Inc.

Prof.Dr. Yunus Yavuz received their education from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Marmara University's Tıp Fakültesi, and the University of Oslo (UiO), where they earned their Doctor of Medicine - MD in 2004.
