Rodney Baker Mba

Rodney Baker has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rodney started their career in 1992 as a Principal at RecTec Inc., where they specialized in creating, selling, implementing, and supporting OCR systems for the Insurance, Banking, and Healthcare industries. Rodney also worked as a Systems Integrator at RecTec Inc. until 2006. In 2008, Rodney co-created and developed the brand EOBreeze as a contractor to FV Tech. Rodney then joined Healthlogic Systems Corporation as a contractor for RecTec Inc. from 2002 to 2007, providing OCR technologies and services.

Rodney's experience in the healthcare industry continued when they worked at Bank of America as the SVP of Healthlogic in 2007 and at Change Healthcare as a Solutions Consultant from 2010 to 2017. At Change Healthcare, they played a key role in developing and implementing the marketing plan for the Payment Automation division.

Since 2017, Rodney has been working as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts at MediStreams, LLC. Additionally, in 2018, they founded Flipper's Lagoon, a luxury waterfront vacation rental in Indian Rocks Beach, which has achieved the number one ranking in its market.

Rodney Baker holds an MBA in Business Information Systems from the University of South Florida, which they completed from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Marketing Economics from the Florida State University - College of Business, graduating from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, Baker has a Master's degree in Licensed Captain, which they earned from Sea School - Merchant Marine Officer from 1990 to the present. Rodney also possesses additional certifications, including being a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, obtained from the Healthcare Financial Management Association in 2013, and a Certified Document Imaging Architect from CompTIA in January 2006.
