Mediterranea di Navigazione spa is a shipping company founded by a family in 1908. The company, which is the owner of 10 modern and technologically advanced vessels, has focused on highly specialized niche markets introducing its diversified fleet of chemical carriers, gas carriers (such as ethylene carriers) and oil tankers of different sizes with total capacity ranging from 5 thousand to 45 thousand DWT. Our vessels are built and operated according to the highest industry standards of quality in order to meet our customer needs and offer safe transport solutions. The company is certified by ISO 9001 : 2008 , ISO 14001 e BS OHSAS 18001. Our operation market segments include the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, the Atlantic, and South and Central Americas. Our goal is not only to maintain a fleet of certified ships, but also to expand in order to meet today's demands for sea transportation. The commercial activity of Mediterranea di Navigazione in the past year (2013) allowed to transport approximately 3,300,000 tonnes of 70 different types of cargo such as chemicals, petroleum products, lubricants, vegetable oils and gas. Our main customers are Enel, Saras, Hyproc, NOC, Eni, Mariner, BpAmoco, Api, Shell, Total Fina Elf, Dow, Tamoil, Repsol, Cepsa, ExxonMobil, A. O.T., Litasco, Vitol as well as many other primary traders.
