Christos Karavas

Christos Karavas serves as the Head of the School of Health and Sport Science at Mediterranean College since October 2019, overseeing programs such as the BSc (Hons) in Sports Science and Coaching, MSc in Strength and Conditioning, and BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, in partnership with the University of Derby and the University of Wolverhampton. Christos also holds several marketing management roles for events including the Mykonos Running Festival and the International "Alexander the Great" Marathon, while being an accredited and senior lecturer in Sport Business Development and Entrepreneurship at the University of Derby since October 2020. Christos's educational background includes multiple degrees from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the International Hellenic University, culminating in a Master's degree in Sport, Recreation and Sport Tourism Management and a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. Previous experience includes serving as a Sports Coordinator for SOS Children's Villages Greece from May 2016 to October 2017.
