Joseph Horowitz

Joseph Horowitz is a skilled designer specializing in spatial interfaces and mixed reality applications. Currently serving as a Spatial Designer at Medivis since August 2023, Joseph leads the design and implementation of neurosurgical navigation technologies. Prior experience includes a role as a Mixed Reality Designer at 3M from June 2021 to July 2023, where collaboration with global teams resulted in innovative manufacturing assistance solutions. Additionally, as an AR Design Intern at 3M, Joseph focused on research and prototyping for Microsoft HoloLens 2 applications. Previously, Joseph gained research experience as a UX Researcher at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic and Time Based Media from Carnegie Mellon University, earned in May 2021.
