Janne Jäkälä

Janne Jäkälä has a diverse range of work experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Janne is currently employed at Medixine as a Product Lead, responsible for managing and improving product development processes. Previously, they worked at Terveystalo for several years, holding roles such as Product Owner & Team Lead, Lead Software Developer, and Technical Project Manager. In these positions, they oversaw development teams, managed customer delivery projects, and implemented agile methodologies. Prior to Terveystalo, Janne worked as a Software Developer at Hoffmanco International, where they were involved in various stages of application development. Janne started their career at Logica as a Programmer and Database Administrator, gaining experience in web-based application development and database management. Janne's earliest work experience was as a Technician at Oy Senseware Ltd.

Janne Jäkälä attended Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their degree, Janne Jäkälä also holds two certifications from the Scrum Alliance. They obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification in September 2012 and the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification in November 2021.
