James Frank joined Medley Management as Senior Managing Director in 2015. Mr. Frank joins Medley with over 15 years of private equity and special situation investing experience. Prior to joining Medley, Mr. Frank was a Partner at The Yucaipa Companies, where he focused on private equity and special situations. Before Yucaipa, Mr. Frank worked for Apollo Global Management, where he specialized in private equity and distressed debt investments. Mr. Frank began his career in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He received a bachelor's degree from Williams College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
