Michelle Soltys is the current Managing Director Head of Asset Management at Medley Management. Michelle has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on controller and director-level positions.
Soltys began their career as a senior auditor at Selden Fox, Ltd. After three years, they transitioned to become a senior accountant at VMI Communication and Learning Systems, Inc. In 2000, they became the Director of Accounting at InstallShield Software Corporation.
In 2003, Soltys became the Vice President & Controller at Arrow Financial Services LLC, a Sallie Mae Company. Michelle was responsible for all accounting and financial operations, including revenue recognition, international financial reporting, and comprehensive management reporting. Michelle remained in this role until 2009 when they became the Chief Financial Officer at Velum Global Credit Management, LLC.
In 2012, Soltys joined Medley as the Managing Director. Michelle oversaw all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance operations. Michelle was with Medley for seven years before their current role as Managing Director Head of Asset Management.
Michelle Soltys earned a BS in Accounting from Trinity Christian College and an MBA in Leadership & Change Management from DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
Michelle Soltys reports to Seth Taube, Co-CEO. They work with James Frank - Senior Managing Director Head of Tactical Opportunities, Samuel Anderson - Senior Managing Director Head of Capital Markets & Risk Management, and Dean Crowe - Senior Managing Director Head of Investing.
