Dr.a.a Faruqui

Dr. A.A Faruqui's work experience includes serving as a Pharmaceutical Specialist at a pharmaceutical company starting in January 2005. In April 2005, they joined Medley Pharmaceuticals Ltd and held various roles, including Sr. Vice President-Medical and Vice President Medical Affairs, where they headed the Medical Department since 2012. Dr.A.A was actively involved in suggesting new products, providing medico-marketing inputs, and ensuring proper positioning and communication. During their tenure, they successfully launched various first-time products in India for pain management, diabetes, osteoarthritis, abnormal uterine bleeding, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, and hypertension.

Dr. A.A Faruqui completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Pharmacology from Government Medical College from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their HSSC degree from Sri. Shivaji Science College, Congressnagar, Nagpur from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they also hold an MD degree in Pharmacology from Government Medical College, Nagpur. In terms of certifications, Dr. A.A Faruqui has obtained multiple certifications in various areas including COVID-19 contact tracing from John Hopkins University, tackling the novel coronavirus from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London, diabetes and CVD from the International Diabetes Federation, and several others related to infection prevention and control, managing mental health and stress, nutrition, and glucose monitoring.
