Lara Simmons

Lara Simmons is the current President of Quality & Regulatory Affairs at Medline Industries. Lara has over 25 years of experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Prior to their current role, they served as the Corporate Director of Regulatory Affairs for Medline Industries, Inc. from July 2005 to February 2007. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of quality assurance and regulatory affairs for the Dynacor Manufacturing Division. This included internal audits, supplier evaluation/qualification, 510(k) submissions, device listings, corrective and preventative actions, customer relations and complaint failure investigations. Lara also oversaw the maintenance of ISO certification, FDA QSR audits and overall QSR compliance.

From March 2002 to July 2005, Simmons served as the Director of Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs for the SPT Division. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable FDA regulations and ISO standards. Lara also conducted audits of new suppliers and products to improve quality and reduce cost. Additionally, they oversaw numerous equipment and process validations for packaging, extruding and assembly of various devices.

Simmons began their career in quality assurance and regulatory affairs in 1992 as the Corporate Director of RA for Medline Industries, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of quality assurance and regulatory affairs for the company. This included internal audits, supplier evaluation/qualification, 510(k) submissions, device listings, corrective and preventative actions, customer relations and complaint failure investigations. Lara also oversaw the maintenance of ISO certification, FDA QSR audits and overall QSR compliance.

Lara Simmons has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Lara also has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the same school. Lara attended Waterford Union High School.
