Kristy Simmons

Kristy Simmons has extensive experience in quality management and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Vice President, Quality at Medtronic since May 2000. Throughout their tenure at Medtronic, Kristy has held several key positions, including Vice President of Quality, Integration PMO and Portfolio Management, and Sr. Engineering Director. Kristy also contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of St. Thomas since September 2005 and serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business starting January 2024. Prior to Medtronic, Kristy gained experience at Empi and Minrad in regulatory affairs and sales roles. Kristy holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science from St. Norbert College.
