Yael Amit

Yael Amit has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career as a News Reporter and News Editor at Galei Tzahal from 2011 to 2014, where they covered topics related to infrastructure, environment, and parliament committees. Yael then worked as a News Producer at Radio Darom in 2016.

In 2017, Yael interned as a Social Media Intern at Jindas: Urban Regeneration in Lod, where they translated content from English to Hebrew and created social media posts.

Yael's academic journey began in 2019 when they joined Ben-Gurion University of the Negev as a Teaching Assistant and later took on the role of Research Assistant. As a Research Assistant, Yael designed and conducted experiments in the field research of memory processes and analyzed data using Matlab.

Yael's interest in behavioral research led them to work as a Behavioral Researcher at Medorion in 2021. They conducted research on human psychology and behavior in the field of health behavior and analyzed barriers and motivations based on theory and data.

Yael also has experience in the field of finance as an Analyst at Cactus Capital from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they were selected to attend the Cactus Academy Alumni program, an exclusive course covering entrepreneurship, venture capital funds, and startup analysis.

Yael's passion for marketing and content creation led them to work as a Digital Marketing and Content Editor at Brainstorm IL in 2020. They created marketing content and promoted events, particularly the annual hackathon competition. Yael also wrote and edited scientific content for social media.

Currently, Yael is serving as a Strategic Researcher at Atera, employed since March 2022. In November 2022, they will transition to a Product Manager role at MedOrion.

Yael Amit completed a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2017 to 2020.
