Andreas Jakobsson

Andreas Jakobsson is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in mathematical statistics and signal processing. Currently serving as a Professor and Head of Division at Lund University since 2008, Andreas has co-founded two companies, VoiceDiagnostic Sweden AB and Medotemic AB, since 2019 and 2017, respectively. Prior to this, Andreas held positions at QuanoX and Karlstad University as a researcher and Professor of Signal Processing, and was a lecturer at King's College London. Andreas's career in research and development included a role as Sr R&D Engineer at Global IP Sound AB. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Signal Processing from Uppsala University, complemented by a post-doctoral position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
