Dean Kereiakes

Dean Kereiakes, MD, FACC, MSCAI has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations. Dean currently holds the position of President of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute, as well as the role of Medical Director at The Christ Hospital Research Institute and The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Center. Dean is also an Attending Interventional Cardiologist for The Christ Hospital. Previously, Dr. Kereiakes served as the Medical Director of the Lindner Center for Research and Education at The Christ Hospital and the Director of the Division of Cardiovascular Intervention at The Christ Hospital Cardiovascular Research Center.

In addition to their work at The Christ Hospital, Dr. Kereiakes has held positions at Medpace as Vice President of Medical Affairs, at The Ohio State University as Professor of Clinical Medicine, at OHIO HEART, THORACIC AND VASCULAR SURGERY, INC as Chairman of the Executive Committee, Director of Research, and Chief Executive Officer, and at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine as Professor of Clinical Medicine.

Dean Kereiakes, MD, FACC, MSCAI attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for their medical education. Dean obtained certifications in Cardiology and Internal Medicine, becoming board certified in both specialties in 1985 and 1981, respectively.
