Kimberly Michelson

Kimberly Michelson has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and trial management. Kimberly started their career at the University of Texas Southwestern as a Sr. Clinical Research Nurse. Kimberly then worked as a Clinical Director at Clinical Research Medical Associates before joining Quintiles as a Senior Specialist & Clinical Research Associate, where they focused on clinical monitoring and protocol development for Phase I trials.

Afterwards, Michelson joined Isis Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager, responsible for managing clinical trials. Kimberly then transitioned to Amgen, where they held various roles including R&D Project Manager, Sr. Clinical Manager, and Director of Clinical Research Services. At Amgen, they led operations teams, supported large biotech portfolios, and drove global process improvement initiatives.

Michelson then joined PPD as the Director of Clinical Operations Oncology/Hematology, overseeing a large clinical oncology portfolio for key clients. Kimberly led cross-functional operations, global bid defense preparation, and executed clinical trial execution.

Kimberly then moved to Abraxis BioScience as the Vice President of Clinical Trial Management, where they built an operations infrastructure to support clinical trial execution.

Following their time at Abraxis BioScience, Michelson joined Medtronic Inc. as a Senior Director of Clinical Research, responsible for leading clinical development for the Spinal & Biologics Division. Kimberly effectively led the clinical development organization and drove global efficiency initiatives to meet objectives. Kimberly later became a Sr. Director of Clinical Operations at Medtronic, overseeing clinical operations and supporting corporate and business unit objectives.

Currently, Michelson is working at Medpace as the Sr. Vice President of Clinical Trial Management. Kimberly is responsible for leading and managing clinical trial operations.

Kimberly Michelson attended Gettysburg College from 1987 to 1991 and The Johns Hopkins University from 1991 to 1992. No degree or field of study is provided for either institution.
