Laura Guzman

Laura has been involved in QA activities with MedQIA since 2009; and is currently the Senior Director of Quality and Compliance, providing oversight on all quality and compliance aspects at MedQIA. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Biology in Colombia, she moved to Chicago and worked as a research technologist with an immunology group. In addition to holding a master’s degree from Northwestern University, she has an MS in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California. Laura has expertise in QMS development and establishment of manuals and procedures for QA activities, GCP and ethical principles in clinical research, privacy protection principles, eQMS and imaging software validation, and compliance auditing for GCP and validation of computer systems.
