Melody Schweitzer

Melody Schweitzer has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education sectors. Melody currently works as a CTE Allied Health Teacher at Waggener High School, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, Melody served as the Director of Education and a Nursing Administrator at MedQuest College, starting in 2017. Melody also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Campbellsville University, starting in November 2017. Melody has experience as a Regional Director of Nursing at Brown Mackie College-Louisville from August 2015 to September 2017. Melody also held various roles at Brown Mackie College, including a Practical Nursing Program Administrator and Department Chair Allied Health. Melody's earlier work experience includes serving as a Nurse Manager at Norton Healthcare from February 1994 to March 2008.

Melody Schweitzer has a strong education background in nursing and healthcare management. Melody obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Spalding University in an unspecified year. Later, they pursued further education at the University of Phoenix, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nursing Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management, both completed between 2005 and 2008. In addition to their degrees, Melody Schweitzer has obtained several certifications. Melody became a Registered Nurse (RN) from the Kentucky Board Of Nursing in March 1994, and received their RN certification from the Indiana State Nursing Board in January 2017. Melody also obtained a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in April 2017 from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
