Jeffrey Ericson

Jeffrey Ericson has over 20 years of work experience in various technology and leadership roles. Jeffrey is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of Infrastructure at MedRisk since 2022. In this role, they focus on maintaining a strict security posture and providing a stable, available, and performant infrastructure.

Prior to that, Jeffrey worked at MedRisk, LLC from 2006 to 2022 as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Infrastructure. Jeffrey led a team of 25 and managed a multi-million budget. Jeffrey'sefforts contributed to the company's revenue growth by providing a scalable technology platform.

Before joining MedRisk, Jeffrey worked at Lincoln Financial as a Database Consultant in 2006, where they were responsible for supporting the delivery of organization performance information to the sales force. Jeffrey also worked at the Project Management Institute as a Database Administrator from 2005 to 2006, participating in database development, design, and administration activities.

Prior to these roles, Jeffrey served as the Assistant Vice President of SQL Server DBA at MBNA America from 2001 to 2005. Jeffrey provided database administration, design, and development services for consumer deposits functions. Jeffrey also managed a group supporting Finance Information Delivery initiatives and led a financial systems service desk.

Jeffrey's career began at Diamond Technologies, Inc. in 1998 as a Consultant and Director of Microsoft Technologies. Jeffrey was involved in database design, administration, and development activities for clients. Jeffrey also directed the organization's certification process.

Overall, Jeffrey has demonstrated extensive experience and expertise in information security, infrastructure management, database administration, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Jeffrey Ericson attended AI Dupont HS from 1984 to 1987 and obtained their high school diploma. Jeffrey then went on to study IT/Management at Widener University from 1989 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Science degree.

In addition to their formal education, Jeffrey has obtained several certifications. In February 2018, they became CCENT certified by Cisco. Later, in November 2019, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification. Jeffrey also holds certifications from VMware, including VMware vSphere 6.7 Foundations obtained in September 2020 and the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2021 earned in April 2021. Most recently, in March 2022, they obtained the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
