Luis A. Córdova

Luis A. Córdova, DDS, PhD, currently serves as an Attendant at Clínica MEDS and holds the position of Academic Editor at PLOS ONE since January 2019. Additionally, Luis has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Universidad de Chile since November 2001 and serves as President of Fundación Chile Sin Drogas, focusing on education regarding the effects of recreational and psychiatric drug consumption. Luis has extensive experience as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, consulting at Complejo Hospitalario San José and previously working at Clínica las Condes S.A and Complejo Hospitalario San Borja Arriaran. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Bone Research from Universidad de Chile, a PhD from Nantes Université, and postdoctoral research positions at Stanford University focusing on craniofacial and orthopaedic research.
