Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Currently, Chris develops hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices while previously contributing to firmware development. Prior experience includes work as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student learning in electronic circuits.
