Marco Masir

Marco Masir serves as the Director of Data Science at Meds.com since September 2024. Prior to this role, Marco held multiple positions at Self Financial, Inc. from July 2021 to September 2024, culminating in the title of Principal ML/AI Research Scientist. Earlier experience includes a Senior Manager role in Machine Learning Research at QuinStreet (2020 - July 2021) and significant contributions to Modernize as a Research Scientist in Machine Learning from December 2017 to July 2020. Marco has also been a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin since November 2014 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Antwerp from 2012 to 2015. Academically, Marco completed a PostDoc in Condensed Matter Physics at The University of Texas at Austin (2016 - 2023) and earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Antwerp.
