Grace Njeri is a Quality Assurance Specialist at Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies-MEDS, focusing on vendor and product prequalification under a USAID contract. Prior experience includes roles as QA Manager CMO & GDP and Pharmacovigilance Manager at Dawa Life Sciences, overseeing quality assurance for contract manufacturing and monitoring drug safety. Before that, Grace held similar pharmacovigilance responsibilities at MEDISEL Kenya Limited. Early professional experience involved internships in community and industrial pharmacy practice, as well as a hospital pharmacy setting. Grace holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology Innovation and Regulatory Science from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi.

Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) is a Christian not-for-profit organization registered as a Trust of the ecumenical partnership of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) and the Christian Health Association of Kenya. Currently, the organization serves more than 2,200 organizations in Sub-saharan Africa. MEDS was officially founded in 1968 to provide reliable, quality, affordable essential drugs and medical supplies to church health units and to train health workers on the rational use of drugs.The organization has since grown to shape the medical supply chain in Kenya and the wider sub Saharan region by not only providing reliable, quality, affordable essential drugs and medical supplies to more than 2,000 health facilities but also to offer capacity building programmes for health workers, quality control and other pharmaceutical services.
