Sara Ahmadi-Abhari

Sara Ahmadi-Abhari is a Lecturer in the Epidemiology of Ageing at Imperial College London and the Chief Scientific Officer at Medsien. Prior to their current roles, Sara worked at UCL as a Senior Research Fellow and Post-doctoral Research Associate in Epidemiology. Sara also has experience as a Program Associate for Monitoring and Evaluation at the United Nations Development Programme and as a Researcher at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Sara received their MD in Medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed further education at the University of Cambridge. Sara's research focus includes longitudinal studies on ageing outcomes, cardiovascular diseases, dementia, and functional impairment, as well as public health program impact assessments.
