Daniel Alcalá López

Daniel Alcalá López is a Data Science Specialist at Medica Scientia Innovation Research (MEDSIR) since April 2021. Previously, Daniel served as a Frictionless Data for Reproducible Research Fellow at the Open Knowledge Foundation, where collaboration with early career researchers focused on enhancing reproducibility in scientific research through Frictionless Data tools. Daniel's experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at Neuromatch Academy and a Postdoctoral Researcher position at BCBL, specializing in social-cognitive neuroscience. Daniel has also contributed as an Editor and Author for Psicomemorias and conducted doctoral research at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, utilizing machine learning to explore brain networks related to social cognition. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Science, a Master's degree in Biostatistics, a Master's degree in Physiology and Neuroscience, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad de Sevilla and RWTH Aachen University.
