Niloy Choudhury

Niloy Choudhury is the Co-Founder and CTO at Medsix. Prior to this, they were a Sr. Staff Optical Algorithm Engineer at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. from November 2018 to September 2019. From May 2017 to November 2018, they were a Principal Physicist at Cambridge Consultants, where they were responsible for developing new product concepts involving innovative sensing solutions to solve technological needs in a wide range of industries. Niloy has also worked as a Sr. Optical Engineer at GE Global Research from July 2012 to February 2017, where they were responsible for leading the development of various harsh environment temperature sensors using TDLAS, as well as developing a regression analysis based model to locate gas leaks and predict leak rates from an array of ground-based sensors. Niloy has also authored more than 10 papers for GE’s internal publication repository.

Niloy Choudhury completed a Ph.D. in physics at the University of Connecticut, an M.Sc. in physics at Delhi University, and a B.Sc. in physics at Hindu College.
