Andrea Brooks

Andrea Brooks, DNP, MBA, FNP-BC, ENP-C, LSSBB, serves as the Corporate Director of Clinical Performance Improvement at MedStar Health since September 2020. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Andrea previously held key positions at the University of Maryland Medical Center, driving clinical effectiveness and urgent care operations from 2006 to 2020. Andrea also contributed to the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners as a Board Member and President from October 2016 to October 2023. Andrea's clinical expertise includes managing urgent and emergent patient cases, with a strong focus on healthcare quality improvement and team training. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing Practice and an MBA from the University of Maryland, along with advanced nursing degrees.
