John Jr. Bernas

John Jr. Bernas has extensive experience in healthcare technology and integration, having spent over three decades in the industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Data and Integration at MedStar Health since May 1992, John has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Director of Clinical Integration Services and Manager of Integration Services. Prior to this, John worked at Washington Hospital as an Application Specialist and System Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Post Master's Advanced Certificate in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science, both from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Frostburg State University and an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from Montgomery College.
