Mary-Michael Brown

Mary-Michael Brown is currently the VP of Nursing Practice Innovation at MedStar Health. Mary-Michael previously worked as the Assistant Vice President of Outcomes and Quality at MedStar Washington Hospital Center from November 2007 to December 2012. Brown has dedicated their career to improving patient care and outcomes through innovative nursing practices. Mary-Michael is a respected leader in the nursing community and their work has helped MedStar Health become a recognized leader in quality patient care.

Mary-Michael Brown began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. Mary-Michael then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College. Finally, they completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from The George Washington University.

They work with and Hussein Tahan - VP, Nursing Professional Development & Workforce Management. Mary-Michael Brown reports to Susan Eckert, SVP, Chief Nursing Officer.
