Phil Mears

Phil Mears, JD, MHA, BS, currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at MedStar Health since March 2022. With extensive experience in healthcare supply chain management, Phil previously held the position of Vice President of Supply Chain at Beth Israel Lahey Health from March 2020 to March 2022 and served as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Mount Sinai Health System from November 2012 to March 2020. Earlier roles include consulting as an Independent Advisor and serving as Vice President of Supply Chain at Vanguard Health Systems. Phil's career began at Catholic Health Initiatives, where significant contributions were made by creating a corporate supply chain program for a large hospital system. Phil holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, a Master of Health Administration from Trinity University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration from the University of Arizona.
