Sommer Bulka

Sommer Bulka possesses a strong background in nursing administration and clinical content knowledge management. Currently, Sommer serves as System Director of Clinical Content Knowledge Management at MedStar Health, responsible for the design and implementation of clinical design support for established protocols since May 2016. Additionally, Sommer holds the position of Project Manager in the Clinical Knowledge Management Group at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. Previous roles include Clinical Administrator, Cheerleading Coach at Chopticon High School, Nursing Informatics and Special Project Coordinator at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Nurse Director at Southern Maryland Hospital, and Nurse Educator and Manager at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Sommer holds a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from Notre Dame of Maryland University and an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from the College of Southern Maryland.
