Kelly Makimoto

Kelly Makimoto is the Global Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at COLTENE since July 2024, responsible for overseeing quality and regulatory activities across the organization. With extensive experience at SciCan, Kelly held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs, where efforts focused on aligning activities within the COLTENE group, and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, which involved navigating regulatory changes and representing the company in industry associations. Additional experience at SciCan includes serving as the Vice President of Operations and various operational management roles. Kelly also contributes to Medtech Canada as a board member and previously led Frontenac Youth Services as President of the Board. Educational credentials include a Regulatory Affairs Certificate from RAPS Online University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University.
