Chad Spooner

Chad Spooner is the Chief Financial Officer at Medtronic since July 2025 and a member of the Board of Directors at Stamford Health, involved in both the Audit and Finance Committees since October 2022. Prior to these roles, Spooner served as Chief Financial Officer at BIC from July 2020 to July 2025 and at Slingshot Health from January 2018 to January 2019, focusing on enhancing healthcare accessibility and affordability. Additionally, Spooner was the Managing Director and co-founder of Tenex Capital Management, managing a middle-market private equity firm with $1.2 billion under management from January 2009 to January 2018. Spooner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earned between January 1989 and January 1993.
