Dave Allen

Dave Allen is a seasoned professional in business development and strategy, currently serving as Vice President at Medtronic since August 2015. In this role, Dave oversees Business Development, Strategy, and Early Technologies for the Gastrointestinal Operating Unit, as well as managing Strategy, Portfolio Management, and Business Development for the Medical Surgical Portfolio. Previous positions at Medtronic include various leadership roles in Business Development and Strategy. Prior to joining Medtronic, Dave gained experience at Soros Fund Management and GF Capital Management & Advisors in private equity roles, and worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank. Educational credentials include an MBA in Healthcare Management from The Wharton School and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
