Franklin Nguyen

Franklin Nguyen is an undergraduate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Molecular Biology. Franklin has diverse experience as an Incoming Software Engineer Intern at Medtronic, where legacy PyQt code was refactored for a GUI verification tool. At the MIT Department of Architecture's Urban Risk Lab, Franklin improved flood monitoring systems in Bangkok and prototyped a green jobs platform. Additional experience includes serving as a Lab Assistant in the Introduction to Computer Science course at MIT, where personalized guidance was offered to hundreds of students, and as a User Interface Design Intern at EvoMedics, contributing to a patient dashboard and conducting statistical analyses. Franklin has also explored innovative hormone delivery methods as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Laboratory for Advanced Biopolymers.
