George Murgatroyd

George Murgatroyd serves as the General Manager and Vice President of the Digital Technologies Business Unit at Medtronic, where leadership encompasses the digital ecosystem in surgery. Previous roles at Medtronic include Vice President of Digital Surgery and Senior Director of Global Digital Products, supporting AI-driven products and strategies in healthcare. Prior experience includes managing director positions at Telstra Health UK, executive roles at Kier Group, and several leadership positions within Telstra Health, focusing on healthcare analytics and product development. George is also the founder of the Evidence & Ideas Lab at the Association of MBAs and has held research and teaching roles, contributing significantly to healthcare policy and education. Academic achievements include a PhD and an MRes from Lancaster University and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
