Kyle Goochey

Kyle Goochey is an accomplished operations and engineering leader with extensive experience in the medical device industry, particularly in the development and manufacturing of implantable medical device components. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Director of Battery Operations at Medtronic since August 2014, Kyle has held several leadership roles, including Manufacturing Director | Site Leader and Sr. Value Stream Manager. Prior to Medtronic, Kyle worked at Boston Scientific as a Senior Chemical Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on process development and implementation of coating operations as well as battery manufacturing for pacemaker and defibrillator devices. Earlier experience includes roles at Hutchinson Technology Inc. as a Process Engineer and Process Development Engineer, specializing in wet chemical processes for hard drive suspension assemblies. Kyle holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Math, and Environmental Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
