Naeiri Shahmirzaeian

Naeiri Shahmirzaeian is a skilled Test Engineer II at Medtronic Diabetes, starting in September 2023. Previously, Naeiri served as a Graduate Assistant at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering from October 2022 to May 2023, advising MAPP liaisons and mentors while overseeing program implementation and conducting interviews. Naeiri completed a Research & Development Co-Op at Applied Medical, focusing on prototype development and design verification for surgical devices. Prior experience includes research roles at UCI Samueli School of Engineering, where Naeiri fabricated silicon chips for bacterial detection and contributed to advanced imaging techniques. Naeiri holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine.
