Nate Kerl

Nate Kerl is an experienced User Experience professional with a diverse background spanning over 17 years. Currently serving as a Principal User Experience Researcher at Medtronic since January 2020, Kerl focuses on enhancing experiences for cardiac diagnostic devices through extensive clinician engagement and field studies. Prior roles include Lead UX Designer at Refinitiv, where Kerl directed global projects for the Refinitiv Data Platform, and Lead User Interface Designer at Thomson Reuters, specializing in data-driven visualizations for investment and risk managers. Earlier experience includes management roles at Questar Assessment, Jostens, and Capella University, where Kerl demonstrated a strong ability to lead and grow design teams. Kerl holds an MBA in Marketing from Capella University and a BA in Creative Writing and Communication Arts from Wartburg College.
