Robert Kowal

Robert Kowal possesses extensive experience in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of Cardiac Pacing Therapies at Medtronic since March 2017. Previous positions include Chief Medical Officer and VP of Medical Affairs for various cardiac-related divisions at Medtronic, and Co-Medical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Baylor Scott and White Health Care. Additionally, Robert has played significant roles in research and policy within the Heart Rhythm Society, including chairing the Subcommittee on Reimbursement and Regulatory Affairs. Robert's educational background includes an MD/PhD from UT Southwestern Medical Center, as well as advanced training at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School and a BS from Yale University.
