Shady Elias

Shady Elias serves as the VP of Research and Development for Articulating Technologies at Medtronic since June 2016, overseeing the Staples Business Unit with an emphasis on strategic guidance in new product development and operational compliance for a $120M production cost segment generating $1B in annual revenue. Prior to Medtronic, Shady Elias held various roles at GE Energy Management from August 2008 to June 2016, including Multi Plant Manager, where operational oversight and full P&L responsibility for multiple facilities were managed, and Plant Manager, focusing on molded case circuit breakers production. Shady Elias began with GE as a Design Engineer and participated in the Leadership Development Program as an Edison Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
