Wendy Hawker

Wendy Hawker has extensive experience in talent acquisition, having worked at Medtronic from September 2006 to August 2023, where roles included Talent Acquisition Manager for Operations/Direct Labor Recruiting and Software Engineering. In those positions, Wendy managed and coached a team of recruiters, developed tools and processes for recruiting initiatives, and oversaw full life cycle recruiting for Diabetes Engineering teams. Prior to Medtronic, Wendy worked as a Recruiter/Contract Recruiter at Nokia Siemens Networks from August 1998 to July 2006, managing the recruiting cycle for exempt level Technical Wireless positions. Wendy's career began at National Semiconductor as a Recruiter, handling recruiting for technical and administrative salaried positions from May 1997 to July 1998. Wendy holds a BA in Business Administration from Ashford University, obtained in 2010, and has also studied at Sam Houston State University.
