Julie Watson has worked in the medical field since 1997. Julie began their career at Abbott as a Professional Sales Representative, where they were responsible for selling tube feeds, feeding pumps and associated consumables. Her main customers included Dieticians, Nutrition Nurses, Consultants, District Nurses and Pharmacists. Julie then moved to GlaxoSmithKline in 1999 as a Professional Sales Representative, where they were responsible for promoting products within respiratory, allergy and BPH therapy areas, and was successful in launching a combination inhaler for asthma. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at HemoCue AB as a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for sales of full range of diagnostic, point of care analysers for blood glucose, haemoglobin, white blood cells and urine albumin plus associated consumables. Julie then joined H1 Healthcare as a Healthcare Recruitment Consultant. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Coloplast as a Senior Peristeen Advisor and Peristeen Advisor. Finally, they joined Medtrum Technologies Inc. in 2019 as a Diabetes Territory Sales Manager.

Julie Watson completed their Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Nursing Studies at Glasgow Caledonian University from 1991 to 1995. In 1998, they obtained the ABPI Qualified certification from The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. In 2012, they obtained the Registered General Nurse certification from the NMC.
