Embedded Software Engineer at MedUX

Bernardo López Panadero has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Bernardo began their career as a carpenter at ANTONIO PANADERO E HIJOS SL, where they specialized in custom furniture manufacturing for children and teenagers. After that, they worked as an engineer in maintenance at EXTRUAL S.A., performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery.

In 2015, Bernardo had an internship at EXTRUAL S.A., gaining practical experience in the field. Bernardo then moved on to Cojali, where they worked as both a Firmware Engineer and an Embedded Linux Engineer. Here, they developed firmware for vehicle ECUs and agricultural implements, following the ISOBUS standard. Bernardo also worked on creating Linux images for embedded systems using Buildroot and Yocto Project.

Following their time at Cojali, Bernardo joined the Hyperloop UPV team as a Firmware Engineer, contributing to the development of firmware for ECUs in a Hyperloop train prototype. Bernardo programmed microcontrollers using C and developed a bootloader for updating ECUs via the CAN bus.

Currently, Bernardo is employed at MedUX as an Embedded Software Engineer. Bernardo'sresponsibilities include software development for embedded systems that determine user experience quality in telecommunications networks. Bernardo has expertise in creating Linux images with Yocto Project and Android images with AOSP.

Overall, Bernardo López Panadero has accumulated significant work experience in various engineering roles, focusing on firmware development, embedded systems, and maintenance of industrial machinery.

Bernardo López Panadero has a Master's degree in Electronic Systems Engineering, with a specialization in Digital Systems, from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate degree in Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha. During their undergraduate studies, they also obtained a mention in Electronic Design from the same university.
