Michael Wood has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on facilities management and construction. Michael has held various leadership positions throughout their career, including Vice President of Planning, Design, and Construction at Medxcel Facilities Management, National Director of Construction at Medxcel, and President/CEO of Impact! Consulting, LLC. In these roles, they have led cross-functional teams, managed large capital budgets, and implemented program and project management initiatives to improve business operations within the healthcare sector. Additionally, Wood has served as President of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals, CAHED, and the IFMA Health Care Institute. Prior to their leadership roles, they worked as the Director of Healthcare Market Development at Oldcastle Building Solutions and Director of Healthcare Program Management/Integration at Heery International, Inc. Earlier in their career, they served as President of Wood Development Group, where they oversaw various healthcare, commercial, and non-profit projects. Wood began their career at Kaiser Permanente, where they worked as a Project Manager before eventually becoming the Director of Facilities/Project Management.
