Pete Plamann

Pete Plamann is an experienced executive with 30 years successfully innovating the health insurance industry. Previously served as Vice President of Innovation Wellness Solutions with UnitedHealthcare. During his 15-year tenure at UnitedHealthcare, Mr. Plamann held various leadership roles directly responsible for $15B of revenue growth and P&L ownership. He was also directly responsible for driving innovation, as well as developing and introducing disruptive products and services to the market that allowed members to more fully engage in their health and wellbeing. Working closely with a venture capital research development firm affiliated with UnitedHealthcare Group, Mr. Plamann created an alternative insurance plan for small employers that were negatively impacted by the Affordable Care Act, which he subsequently grew from inception to well over $1B in revenue in just two years. Since leaving UnitedHealthcare, Mr. Plamann has been leading start-up companies to put the healthcare consumer at the center of information access.
