Paul Schnell

Paul Schnell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Distributed Ventures since January 2022, Schnell is also a member of the Investment Committee at NFP Ventures and a Board Member at Wingspan and MedZed, the latter focusing on enhancing healthcare delivery. As a co-founder and Managing Director at both Alterity Group and NFP Corporate Services (NY), Schnell has played a significant role in shaping business strategies. Previously, Schnell founded and led Dreyfuss & Birke Ltd, a prominent insurance brokerage that was acquired by NFP in 2003, and held the position of Vice President at BWD Insurance Group. Schnell holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan.
