Ursula Schick, PhD has a wealth of experience in the field of genomics. Ursula began their career in 2009 as a Research Technologist at the University of Washington, before becoming a Graduate Research Assistant at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 2010. Ursula continued their studies at the same institution and became a Graduate Research Fellow in 2012. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Bronfman Institute for Personalized Medicine. In 2015, they joined Recombine as a Genomic Variation Scientist, and then moved to Celmatix as a Variant Scientist and Manager of Genomic Interpretation in 2017. In the same year, they joined CooperGenomics as Manager of Variant Curation. In 2019, they joined Invitae as a Product Manager for Genomic Interpretation Software and Platform Product Lead. Ursula is currently a Senior Product Manager at Fellow, starting in 2022.
Ursula Schick, PhD completed their education history in 2014 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health Genetics from the University of Washington. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Genetic Epidemiology from the University of Washington in 2012. Ursula Schick, PhD also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Washington in 2009.
