Lesa Underwood

Lesa Underwood, CMP, serves as Client Success Lead at Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc. since 2017, focusing on enhancing customer experience in event management, which includes virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. Formerly, Underwood held the position of Program Manager in Global Enterprise Solutions at M&IW and has extensive experience as Event Program Manager at Empire Sports Management, where unique corporate events and celebrity golf tournaments were primary focuses. Prior experience includes Principal/Event Coordinator at JLU Events, LLC, Special Events Manager at Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Assistant Director of Special Events at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, and various sales and revenue management roles at Marriott International. Underwood began a career in higher education as an Admissions Counselor at Converse College, fostering recruitment efforts that significantly increased enrollment.
