Marinda Heinze has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and positions. Marinda began their career as a waitress at Mandarin Palace in 2010 before transitioning to a role as an all-rounder at Hamshire Hotel Delft Centre, where they worked full-time for a year before continuing part-time while attending Hotelschool The Hague.
During their time at Hotelschool The Hague, Marinda gained practical experience as a front desk receptionist at The Ritz-Carlton Abama Spa & Golf Resort, where they also assisted with guest relations and events. Marinda excelled in upselling and took on training responsibilities for new employees. This experience sparked their interest in sales and marketing.
After their practical placement, Marinda worked as a student assistant at Hotelschool The Hague, where they took on responsibilities for the food and beverage outlets and managed events. Marinda adapted their leadership skills each week to accommodate new students in the outlets.
Following their graduation, Marinda embarked on an undergraduate internship at AQ Services International, a research and consultancy company specializing in mystery shopping. Marinda focused on developing a global newsletter to enhance the internal application process for mystery shoppers.
Marinda's passion for child inclusion led their to a role as an advisor at the Missing Chapter Foundation. Marinda supported account managers, directors, and the foundation's founder in preparation for meetings and presentations, as well as documenting and reporting project meetings. Additionally, Marinda assisted with event organization and calendar management.
Most recently, Marinda worked as a fine artist at Marinda Michelle, utilizing their creative skills to produce artwork.
Currently, Marinda is employed as a content developer at Meetingselect, where they continue to leverage their creative abilities.
Marinda Heinze's education history includes several notable institutions and certifications. From 2020 to 2021, they attended the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, also known as Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (KABK), where they pursued an orientation course in Art/Art Studies. Prior to that, in 2019 to 2020, they attended De Upstarter, focusing on Content Creation.
Marinda also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, which they obtained from Hotelschool The Hague from 2012 to 2017. Before their college years, they completed their high school education at Stanislascollege Westplantsoen, where they obtained their High School diploma (HAVO) from 2006 to 2011.
In addition to their academic achievements, Marinda has acquired several certifications. In September 2020, they completed the "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" course offered by LinkedIn. In April 2013, they obtained the "Certificate of Social Hygiene" from SVH (Stichting Vakbekwaamheid Horeca). In October 2011, Marinda earned the "Certificado Nivel B1 Spanish" from don Quijote - Spanish Language Learning. Lastly, in July 2017, they obtained the "Inbound Marketing Certification" from HubSpot.
