Willem Smelik

Willem Smelik has extensive experience in the finance and real estate sectors, currently serving as a Bestuurder at Meewind since 2007, where the firm facilitates investments in sustainable energy production. Additionally, Willem has been the Owner of Seawind Capital Partners B.V. since January 2007 and a Member of the Board at Belwind nv since November 2010. Previously, Willem provided consulting in real estate development at De Nieuwe Aanpak BV from 1992 to 2010 and led real estate valuations at ARCADIS from 1988 to 1992. Earlier in the career, Willem worked as an account manager in the insurance sector at Centraal Beheer Achmea from 1978 to 1988. Willem holds a Master of Real Estate (MRE) degree from the University of Amsterdam and an engineering degree in Shipbuilding from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
